What should I expect from a Princess Party?
The princess is a trained performer, so she will be in character from the time she arrives until she leaves. She has been briefed about the details of your party.
Your selected princess will make her magical entrance, outfitted in a gorgeous dress, dripping with accessories and spritzed in glitter. She will bring a bag or case filled with the items needed for the planned activities.
Once the initial excitement has passed and after introductions, the princess will help you usher everyone into the prepared party area. She’ll immediately start the scheduled activities.
When the time comes for her to leave, the princess will bid farewell to her new friends, leaving behind a trail of magical memories!
What should I expect from a Super Hero Party?
The super hero will arrive in full costume, ready for action! They will bring a bag or case filled with everything they need for the pre-planned activities. Once the initial excitement has passed and introductions have been completed, the super hero will help you usher everyone into the prepared party. He’ll immediately start into the scheduled activities.

Is the timeline provided strict? What happens if we run out of time?
You probably noticed that our packages are packed with activities. BlackRose Parties understands that each event will be a unique experience. While it is important to us that we complete all the listed activities, it’s more important that our customers are happy with their character experience and your party runs smoothly.
When you reserve your character, we will send you an estimated timeline designed just for your party. This gives you an idea of what to expect during the character experience. The timeline is not set in stone. The characters are trained to go with the flow of the party and interact with all the children. Activities are completed as time and circumstances permit.
If you decide to purchase additional time on the day of the event, please call our office. We will try accommodate your request.
Is there an extra charge for over 10 kids?
The character packages are designed to entertain up to 10 children for one hour. If you are having a larger party, there will be no per person charge. But we strongly recommended that you purchase additional time, so everyone has a chance to interact with the character. A good rule of thumb is 30 minutes for every 5 kids.

What if none of the packages fit my party?
Just give us a call. We’d be happy to alter an activity or create a perfect package just for your special day.
Can the party be outdoors?
Most of our party packages work great outdoors, with minor adjustments to the activities. Also, because we wish to keep our costumes in superior condition, characters cannot perform on muddy, damp, or wet surfaces. Please have a backup plan should inclement weather occur. When choosing the space, select a level, dry surface with lots of shade.
The Sparkling Makeovers Party Package can only be purchased for an inside party.
Can the character come to a party that is located in a park, community room, church, or other location?
Yes. Please let us know about the location and we will make sure that the activities will fit the spot. Also, have an indoor location available, should the weather not corporate.
